The Dept. of Sacred Music consists of its Chairman and a 15-member working committee including a Byzantine Chant Committee. The traditional music includes both Byzantine and non-Byzantine styles. The Dept. sponsors an annual 4-day workshop each July with classes in conducting, pitch-giving, new choral music, and chant. It maintains a website with downloadable music, free of charge, resources, and has publications for sale via the Archdiocese Bookstore. Homepage has link to downloadable liturgical texts.
