A New Membership Year Begins

Dear Supporter of PSALM,

Now is the time to renew your membership in PSALM. Our membership year is September 1 to August 31. Your support of PSALM is critical to the ongoing activities of the organization, which include publishing our bi-annual PSALM Notes newsletter, conducting regional workshops, maintaining our on-line Liturgical Music Resource (LMR) and supporting liturgical musicians via the Yahoo Orthodoxpsalm e-list. This year our membersŐ support helped enable the very successful first National Conference, which took place in Cicero, IL, Aug 2-5, 2006. Pictures of that event can be viewed here.

Welcome to the PSALM Liturgical Music Resource!

The PSALM on-line Liturgical Music Resource is an extensive collection of Orthodox liturgical sheet music and related educational materials that uses Internet technology as the means of distribution. Representing a diversity of musical traditions and various styles of translation, the material in the Resource adheres to the highest possible standards of quality in the areas of musical content, textual integrity, liturgical propriety and visual presentation. By contributing to and drawing from this resource, Orthodox church musicians, clergy, and laity are given the means to work together in a common effort to enrich the liturgical life, musical worship, and missionary outreach of our respective communities.

    To reap the full benefits of the LMR, we ask that you join the Psalm community by registering.  Registration gives you access to all music downloads and enables you to index and upload new titles to the database. Registration is free and your information will not be used for any purpose not related to liturgical music (see Privacy Policy).  Includes access to free non-member downloads.
