Preparing the text (lyrics):
- Text should be typed in advance on a word processor, with proper spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and syllabification according to the dictionary. DO NOT type text directly into the score, since that can yield unpredictable results. Once text is ready, it should be copied and pasted into the "Edit Lyrics" window in Finale, from where it will be Click-Assigned to the notes.
- Any repetitions of the text should be entered into the word-processed document, along with appropriate punctuation (i.e., commas where needed, etc.)
